We got the very exciting news that Angelique de Man has received new funding from Stichting de Merel for her research into the detection of vitamin C in the blood, and the role of vitamin C. 

A new systematic review by Lee and colleagues has just been published, regarding the benefits of intravenously administered vitamin C to patients. 

Angelique de Man is an Intensivist at the Amsterdam Medical Center, where she researches novel methods to measure vitamin C levels in the blood more accurately. 

"Watch out for the absolutization of science in medicine". Catrien Schimmelpenninck  asks (in a personal capacity), striking questions about the starting point 'Appropriate care'. "When applied to control costs, this can lead us to lose context and common sense".

The C-easie study investigates whether patients with sepsis or septic shock can heal faster by administering vitamin C early.
