The C-easie study investigates whether patients with sepsis or septic shock can heal faster by administering vitamin C early.
The research team wants to find out whether vitamin C can reduce damage to organs and increase survival rates. The vitamin C is administered in portions of 1,5 gram every 6 hours, starting in the Emergency Department. Take a look at the website.
