As we are preparing for our next round table, which will take place in the summer of 2026, it is a good time to look back at the last round table we held.

The randomized controlled trial “C-EASIE” demonstrated that early administration of vitamin C (within 6 h of admission) resulted in reduced organ dysfunction among high-risk patients (SOFA ≥ 6), although the overall effect was not statistically significant.
